Have you ever tried acting? If you have, did you enjoy it? Is it something that you hope to pursue in the future? If you tried it and liked it, but didn't continue to try to find acting opportunities, why was that? If you have never tried it, why not? Acting is one of the most fulfilling careers because it allows you to use your mind and body in conjunction in order to tell a story, to entertain people, or make them feel good. You can even make a statement and do something to make the world a better place with acting by creating a play, a series of skits, or writing a screenplay that addresses important problems that touch many people.
This is the way that acting has been used since man first figured out how to pantomime the story of how fire was discovered, or how they killed the big Wooly Mammoth. It is the way that society looks at itself and comments on various human dilemmas and social issues. Every day, love, greed, sorrow, oppression, all of these things are dissected and the insides of them illuminated through acting, on stage and in the movies, for all of us to see.
Acting is not for everyone, but it is not as inaccessible as some may think. People who get into and make a career out of acting come from all backrounds and many different walks of life. Even if you don't think it is for you, realize that it is an ancient art form and is respected by every strata of society. Even if some folks may look down on it, and still others may say it's for feebs and geeks, they all still love to go to the movies and pay their fifteen dollars to see those "feebs" and "geeks" portray their favorite characters. If you have been looking for something to make your life more interesting, and/or possibly a new career, look into acting. It could be just the thing.
